What Size Pouch Do I Need for Wax melts?
Products are normally sold by weight, while flexible packaging is specified by volume. Because bulk density varies from product to product, the same weight can require very different pouch sizes.
As a starting point, wax melts and pellets typically pack at approximately 0.60–0.80 g/ml — solid wax is denser, but shaped pieces leave voids between them. We also recommend leaving sufficient headspace so the pouch can be filled and the zipper or top seal closed comfortably.

Important: This wax pouch size guide is approximate. Large or irregular shapes leave more empty space than small pellets, so the same weight can need noticeably different volumes.
